It is not unusual to see some churches doing elaborate things to attract new worshipers and one church in Pennsylvania,USA has taken it to another level by erecting a billboard that reads ‘I Love Sex by God’(you can close your mouth now)
According to Pastor Dan Nichols who heads the Restored Church of Wilkes Barre, they want to let people know that the Bible is relevant to everyday life and that when it comes to sex…. God is the inventor,author and creator of it.
He backs up his theory with the first lines from the book of Song of Solomon in the Bible which reads as follows:
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine.
Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes;
your name is like perfume poured out.
No wonder the young women love you!
Take me away with you—let us hurry!
Let the king bring me into his chambers.

Pastor Dan went on to say that if the world can be bold to talk about sexuality,the church also needs to be upfront about it.He however clarifies that the bottom-line of the message is to emphasize sex between husband and wife as opposed to single people.
Meanwhile,this billboard strategy has faced harsh criticism from other Christians in the neighborhood…what say ye??
