Did President Buhari Just Justify Appointing More Northerners In His Cabinet?

Well it kinda seems so in his interview with BBC Hausa yesterday when he clarified that the Nigerian constitution allows him full control over the choice of his closest officials.

However, he was quick to clarify that he isn't ignoring some section of the society in his appointments but that those he has appointed thus far are some of his most trusted associates who he has confidence in and can trust them with any post.

President Buhari said these are people who did not defect because of positions or involve themselves in the pursuit of personal gains even in trying moments.
