I remember it just like yesterday when this time last year, we were hit with news of the death of renowned pastor, teacher and leadership mentor, Myles Munroe, his wife Ruth and 7 other people in a private plane crash.
Myles Munroe was known for delivering exceptional teaching on topics such as purpose, potential, vision, praise and worship, leadership and even relationships. He was always very passionate about every message he gave and the bottom-line was always getting people into the Kingdom of God.
Unfortunately, death struck as his private jet struck a construction crane and crashed during its approach to the Grand Bahama International Airport killing 9 people on board.
He was senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship. Asides this, he was known both locally and internationally as a bestselling author, motivational speaker, lecturer, teacher, life coach, government consultant, and leadership mentor.
Myles Munroe traveled around the world training leaders in business, government, education, sports, media, and religion. He also served as a business consultant to governments, Fortune 500 companies and corporations, addressing critical issues that affect every aspect of human, professional, leadership, social, and spiritual development.
Though its been a year since his death, his legacy is still very vital in impacting lives all over the world as he provided 25 years of outstanding service to the Bahamas in the category of spiritual, social and religious development.
The fact remains that he breathed, lived and died expanding the kingdom of God and his passion for Christ made him a true ambassador of grace and righteousness.
May God strengthen his family and give them the grace to continue where he stopped especially his son and daughter, Chairo and Charrisa.
