Another September 11th Tragedy As Crane Crashes In Mecca Killing 87 People!

A crane has collapsed at one of Islam's most important mosques in Mecca killing at least 87 people and injuring 201 others.

According to reports from CNN,  Saudi Arabia's civil defense authorities confirmed this on Twitter. The Grand Mosque, Masjid al-Haram surrounds Islam's holiest site, the Kaaba, a shrine that worshipers visit during the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.



The unfortunate incident happened during a strong thunderstorm leading to the huge construction crane collapsing and crashing through the roof of the Grand Mosque.

This is just so sad....may the souls of the departed rest in peace. Another September 11 tragedy?
