Police Arrest 5 Traffic Offenders In Lagos & They Are All Teenagers!

In recent times, there has been an increase in traffic robbery on major roads in Lagos state and the Lagos State Police Rapid Response Squad, RRS, are hopefully stepping up their game in the fight against this crime.

This week they were able to arrest 5 traffic robbers although the alleged ring leader, identified simply as Taiye, managed to escape while snatching a victim’s bag and mobile phone but men of the RRS were able to apprehended other members of the gang.

One of them, Ajala Lateef who is just 16 years old admitted that Taiye is their leader and he sleeps in Oko-Mola at Oshodi under bridge.

The other hoodlums caught include 19 year old Raji Kazeem, 15 year old Ikechukwu Ukueje, Salami Sodiq and 19 year old Bashiru Adeyemi.


The commander of the RRS, Olatunji Disu, confirmed the arrest and reiterated police commitment to keeping Lagos safe.
