Awhhhhh.....Serena Williams Crashes Out Of Grand Slam Tournament!

After winning her previous four Grand Slam tournaments including all 3 this year, Serena Williams has lost out in her semifinal match to Roberta Vinci of Italy today 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Serena had seemed to be well on her way to the final after blasting past Vinci in the first set, but the Italian began rallying better in the second set, and by the final games of the third Serena appeared exhausted on the court. 

However, she graciously shook her opponent's hand before leaving the stadium although she was obviously upset at her loss. 

Meanwhile, Serena had been was aiming to become the first woman since Steffi Graff in 1988 to win all 4 majors in the same calendar year and prior to this match, she had never lost to Vinci.
