Most mothers that have got daughters always look forward to the wedding day of their girls with so much fanfare and joy. Unfortunately, society lady and Iyalode of Gbagura in Ogun State, Chief Mrs. Adunni Bankole died precisely on her daughter, Mopelola's wedding day which was today.
According to reports she had been ill and was even in coma for about 5 days prior to the event before finally passing on to glory today.
Her former husband, Chief Alani Bankole is a top Ogun politician and the father of Dimeji Bankole, the erstwhile Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.
May her soul rest in peace...so sad indeed.
