Should Teachers Be Celebrated More? Fayose Shows Ekiti Teachers Love With Brand New Cars!

The teaching profession has faced a lot of challenges in recent times with many of them not being well appreciated and under valued for their services.

However, as the world marks World Teachers Day today, 5th of October, as set aside by the United Nations, Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose shows appreciation for teachers in his state by giving them brand new cars.

He gave the cars to them over the weekend in anticipation of this celebration and the beneficiaries include, The Tutor-General, The Headmaster-General, The Best Teacher in public secondary schools and The Best Teacher in public primary schools among others.

According to UNESCO, World Teachers' Day is to create awareness and show understanding as well as appreciation for the vital contribution that teachers make to education and development.

To all teachers everywhere, I say THANK YOU for all your efforts in making our children become something great in life! HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS DAY!
