Male & Female Teenage Suicide Bombers Kill 3 & Injure 26 Others In Damaturu, Yobe State

It is so sad that we keep hearing reports of bombing in Nigeria with the most recent being yesterday in Damaturu, Yobe state.

According to reports from This Day newspaper, 2 teenage suicide bombers detonated two bombs that left 6 people dead, including a pregnant woman, and 26 others injured.

The teenagers, a male and a female, about 14 years old detonated the bomb strapped on them at different locations with the first one going off at the busy Damaturu central bus station and the second at Pompomari axis of the Damaturu ring-road bypass.

Meanwhile the spokesman of the Yobe State Police Command, Toyin Gbadegesin, has confirmed both incidents, and says the police is working tirelessly to fish out the criminal elements that continue to use children as weapons of mass destruction.
