A 42 year old man in Indonesia has been asked to change his name or risk being denied social services because his name is God!
According to reports, the Indonesian Council of Muslim Scholars said this is necessary to avoid an interpretation that could lead to idolatry as his name, Tuhan is the Indonesian word for God.

 Meanwhile, the carpenter, Tuhan, from Banyuwangi district, wonders why his name has suddenly become controversial now after him bearing it for over 40 years.

 However, the Chief of the council, Bukhori Abdussomad, has urged Tuhan to change his name or add the prefix Abdu so that his name would translate to Servant of God.
