Baba Go-slow as some people have been calling President Buhari is definitely not slow about getting rid of anyone that might be trying to undermine his power as he has sacked his chief security officer, Abdulrahman Mani.
According to reports, it was found out that he was actually the one who leaked Buhari’s itinerary to former minister of petroleum resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke when he traveled to London in May through which she ended up travelling on the same flight with him.
Investigations also allege that Abdulrahman Mani has been actively undermining the president by working against every value the president upholds and conducting himself in such a manner as to suggest that he is out to pull down the president.
Although the presidency is yet to officially announce the development, reports from Premium Times indicate that Mani has been replaced by Bashir Abubakar, who, until his appointment was an assistant director in the Bayelsa state command of the SSS.
Meanwhile, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has directed all enquiries on the matter to the State Security Service.
