In a bid to boost education in Anambra state, the government has made it compulsory for all teachers in the state to be computer literate.
Speaking on the development, the Commissioner for Education in the state, Kate Omenugha, said it is now mandatory and any teacher that does not comply, should forget about promotion.
According to her, many of the teachers have been frowning against this development but it would actually bring improvement in the education sector and any teacher that fails to acquire the knowledge before January 2016 would not be promoted.
