Despite spending over 535 Million Naira to the West African Examination Council, WAEC, as examination and administrative fees for 42,995 students, Lagos State Government vows to continue paying for SS3 students.
According to reports, the Commissioner for Education, Olayinka Oladunjoye, made this known at a press briefing yesterday.
She said the government is determined to ensure academic excellence through relevant and high quality learning at all levels by organizing daily ‘after school coaching programme’ for JS3 and SS3 students as well as ‘Saturday coaching’ in core subjects of English and Mathematics for SS3 students.
