Following uproar from the death wish campaign advert taken in the dailies by Governor Ayo Fayose against APC's Muhammadu Buhari, the PDP presidential campaign organisation has distanced itself it.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP presidential campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode clarified that the views expressed in the publication were Fayose's personal opinion.
According to him, the message in the advertorial does not in any way reflect the views of the PDP presidential campaign organisation as it was released under Ayo Fayose's name.
However, Femi Fani Kayode says if the PDP wanted to say something like that, they could have, without any apology but that the party believes in the sanctity of life and the issue of age is not a function of how long you will live.
