Election Rigging Plans In Ogun State? Police Intercept Trucks With Ballot Papers

Barely a month away from the February elections, ballot papers are already being illegally moved obviously in steps to rig the upcoming election.

Just yesterday, the Ogun State police command intercepted a 40-foot truck loaded with electoral materials in the Ijebu–Ode axis of Ogun State and 2 other trucks with ballot papers and boxes.

According to reports, the truck was impounded by men of the State Special Security outfit: “OP MESA” who were operating along the Lagos-Sagamu-Benin expressway.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Muyiwa Adejobi has confirmed the arrest and said more details would be made available after investigation.
