What first comes to mind when you see the above picture? would you believe it is actually part of a toy cake decorating set for children?
Toy making company Hasbro has been facing serious heat from parents for creating such a penis-shaped part in a Play Doh 20 Dollar cake decorating set.
Children are supposed to fill the tube with colored frosting, inset a plunger, then squeeze the synthetic goo out of one end, by pressing down against two protrusions at the base.
However, furious parents flocked to the brand's social media channels to blast the company for the ill-thought out design and called it inappropriate.
The huge number of complaints have eventually made Hasbro create a replacement part, which resembles a banana. The company also asked unhappy buyers to come replace the part with the new one for free.
Really good to know they pay attention to what their customers say although someone on social media said most children will not be quick to see the toy as being penis shaped.
According to her it is the adults that actually see it as being offnsive.....hmnnn, what do you think? is she right?
