No More Cash Payment As Revenue Collection In State Of Osun Goes Digital


The State of Osun has made it known that they are going digital as regards payment of fees, fines, charges and other forms of revenue collection in the state come January 2015.

According to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, all arrangements towards this has been completed and the state would no longer accept collection of cash for all of the above mentioned. 

In a statement by his Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Semiu Okanlawon, no revenue official will be allowed to come in contact with cash again with the new digital revenue allocation. These include school fees, fines, charges, and all other forms of payment in obligations to the government by the citizens.
