Reno Omokri has again come against APC's Buhari camp social media status. Right now he is faulting the popularity of General Muhammadu Buhari on Facebook and Twitter.
The Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media says Buhari is using a cheap way of getting publicity through sponsored posts.
According to reports from Vanguard, he says this method shows a level of hypocrisy and deceit as anybody can grow followership with adverts. Reno Omokri went on to say a true proof of popularity on social media should be organic meaning it should be built over time.
He gave the instance of President Jonathan having almost 2 Million followers on Facebook which he attributes to a show of the love Nigerians have for him and his administration.
He noted that it is wrong to compare the popularity of President Jonathan on social media with that of Buhari as they are miles apart.
Reno Omokri also confirmed that President Jonathan is verified on Facebook with a following of 1,740,124 while Buhari is not verified and has only 51,536 followers on Facebook.
This is getting really serious aint it? Please this 2015 elections should come and pass ASAP!
