Being a mother of two children and also the host of a children show on radio, I have come to realise that there is no manual on how to train up children. This is because the gift of having children and raising them up is a unique opportunity that usually differs from one person to the other.
However, there are always tips to serve as guidelines and that is what the book The Redefined Parent by Biodun Odunukwe sets out to achieve and honestly I must say it is a 'Must Have' in your personal library if you are a parent.
Parenting is becoming more challenging as the days go by especially with the ever increasing technological advancement and so many other things that makes it seem like parents are failing in their responsibilities to their children.
Biodun Odunukwe is a writer,mentor and conference speaker who is passionate about womanhood, parenting and teen affairs. She has served as the Chairperson of the Parent Teacher Association, PTA of Mbari Mbayo School for 6 years and has a vision to set up a non governmental organisation to assist women in self discovery and recovery.
She is officially launching her book, The Redefined Parent this week and it is open to everyone passionate about their children.
