It is good to know that good news can come out of the Northern part of Nigeria as regards Christians despite all the Boko Haram bombings and persecution. This is because in Kaduna state, Christians pilgrims are now able to fly directly from the state to Israel to perform holy pilgrimage.
The state Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, who led other top officials of the State Government, were present at the airport to witness the event which is the first of its kind in Kaduna state.
While speaking at the farewell ceremony, the Governor congratulated the pilgrims for the opportunity to embark on the divine assignment and prayed for their safe return from Israel at the end of the pilgrimage.
He also cautioned them to be good ambassadors of the country while in the Holy Land saying they must not indulge in any action capable of tarnishing the image of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
