Just last week, rapper Nicki Minaj was refused from speaking at her former school to encourage students but for Kanye West it was the opposite as he made a surprise appearance at a Los Angeles college where he spent 2 hours speaking to students from the Digital Communications Department at LA Trade Technical College.
He also took time out to speak with troubled youths participating in a summer bridge programme, and he used the sessions to talk about his experiences and personal struggles in music, fashion and graphic arts, and to stress the importance of getting an education.
This visit would be Kanye's fourth time speaking to the Los Angeles students.
