45 year old former Formula One champion, Michael Schumacher has now been discharged from a Swiss hospital and is returning to his home, where he'll continue his recovery from head injuries suffered in a skiing accident last year.
He sustained severe head injuries at the French Alps resort of Meribel on the 29th of December 2013 and has been hospitalized since then.
His manager says there is a long and difficult road ahead for Michael,his wife and two children as regards full recovery.
The German national is a seven-time world champion of 91 races from 1991 to 2012 when he retired from active car racing.
