MTV Video Music Awards

Yesterday was the 31st edition of the popular MTV  Video Music Awards and American singer Beyonce and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea led with eight nominations each with Beyonce taking home the Micheal Jackson Video Vanguard Award which is a Lifetime Achievement Award which was presented to her by her husband,rapper Jay Z.

The MTV VMA is an award presented by the cable channel to honor the best in the music video medium and is seen as an alternative to the Grammy Awards.

However,as usual it wasn't only about who won what, but the focus was also on what most of the celebrities wore and of course there was a lot of eye stopping outfits and some just plain ridiculous outfits as well.
