In a move that shows that he is cutting his losses and adjusting to the reality on ground, former Senate President, David Mark has sacked over 120 of his staff which include his personal assistants and domestic workers, including his son and younger brother.
His son, Babatunde Mark was his Special Assistant on Special Duties and Interior while brother, Igoche Mark, was his Personal Assistant.
According to reports from Daily Post, he decided to do this as there were rumors that some of his domestic staff were being owed salaries for several months.
It has been a double tragedy for David Mark as his party, PDP, also failed to return to power in his own Benue State. He had led the senate for 8 years a feat no legislator has achieved in the history of Nigeria.
