A couple of days ago I came
across the story of 22 year old Sudanese model,Ataui Deng who had gone missing
and people were looking for her including American singer Rihanna who took to
social media to announce the search.
Luckily, Ataui has been found alive yesterday at a New York hospital after being missing for
10days!!!
Ataui who is Alek Wek’s niece,came to the United
States as a refugee from Sudan and has actually been doing well as a model in
the US.

She has appeared on the pages of Marie Claire France, Vogue Germany and
Rihanna's Spring 2013 River Island collection.She has also strutted on the
catwalk for designers including Zac Posen and Proenza Schouler.
I wonder where she had been for those past 10days and
how come she was found in the hospital. Anyway the lesson I picked from this is
for us to make sure we regularly check on our ‘supposed friends’ because in
these 10 days she was missing none of her friends had even checked up on her.
