Oh yes! Beauty Pageants continue to thrive in Nigeria...as a matter of fact the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria is a pageant which has been organised by the Silverbird group since 1986!!(28 years ago).
This year's winner at the grand finale which was held Friday night in Bayelsa state is 19 year old Miss Iheoma Nnadi a representative of Akwa Ibom.

She beat 29 other contestants to walk away with N3million naira,a car and a chance to represent Nigeria at the Miss World pageant which comes up later this year
