Its good news for the christian bakers who were ordered by a judge to pay a fine of $135,000 for refusing to bake a cake for a lesbian marriage ceremony as they have been able to raise $352,500 from a crowdfunding site.
Aaron and Melissa Klein, who were owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa which has been shut down have also set a record on the crowdfunding site by raising more than any previous campaign according to the Continue to Give site founder, Jesse Wellhoefer.
Reports from Christian Post state that the bakery received this amount through 7,651 donations, and thousands of messages with wishes, such as "Keep on fighting," "God bless you," and "Don't back down!! We are standing with you."
