Its
good news for fans of worship pastor and gospel singer, Darlene Zschech as she
is gradually recovering from her battle with breast cancer after making it
public five months ago.
The
popular ‘Shout to the Lord’ crooner has been undergoing chemotherapy and is
thanking all those that have been praying for her thus far.
Darlene
says she has officially finished her last round of chemo and says hallelujah is
the best word to describe how she feels about it. However, the battle isn’t
over. She starts radiation this coming week that will last six weeks.
She
said prior to the treatment she had cried to God to heal her so she won’t have
to undergo the chemo but that God told her He would be with her through it all
making her realize that no matter what we might face in life God has a way of
always seeing us through.
For
the first time since she started the treatment she will be leading worship this
Sunday in church!!!
