As critics in Lagos continue to wonder if Governor Akinwumi Ambode is actually working, it seems like the Governor has got his own agenda and is gradually following it.
The Executive Secretary in the Lands Bureau, Olukayode Ogunnubi, told newsmen that this development is in line with the Governor’s effort to clear the backlog of C of O that was carried over from the previous administration and there is now none pending.
He also explained that the advantage of the recent development would enable owners leverage on the C of O as collateral to obtain loans from financial institutions for business activities and other economic benefits from ownership of properties as evidenced by obtaining their legal titles.
The list of the 2500 C of Os signed by the Governor would be made available in papers from today.
