Popular Italian designer, Moschino is starting out this week with a lawsuit claiming they copied the work of a Brooklyn graffiti artist for one of their designs.
According to reports from CNN, the design which was on a dress singer, Katy Perry wore for the Met Gala in May, was a copy of the graffiti artist's work.
The lawsuit filed in a federal court in California by the artiste, Joseph Tierney known as Rime, states that the design on the dress bears a strong resemblance to the work he completed for The Seventh Letter art organisation in Detroit in 2012.
However, in a statement, Moschino has disputed the claims stating that the company will vigorously defend the lawsuit.
Meanwhile the dress in question worn by Katy Perry, actually made it to the Worst Dressed list for celebrities at the Met Gala....#Lobatan Lol
