Daniel Amokachi Takes Over As New Coach Of FC Ifeanyi Ubah

One of the football clubs in Nigeria,  FC Ifeanyi Ubah, now has a new coach as Daniel Amokachi takes over.

The club owned by Oil magnate and CEO of Capital Oil, Ifeanyi Uba, have been struggling in the top division and are currently 13th on the log on the Nigeria Premier League table.

Amokachi was the former Super Eagles assistant coach, and he now replaces John Obuh, who has been deployed to the position of Football Director. He will also work with Ike Shoronmu, who is the club’s goalkeeper trainer.

Time will indeed tell if Amokachi, who has handled the U-23 national team, home-based Eagles, Enyimba  and Nasarawa United, can bring a turnaround for the club.
