The amount of 1.005 Billion Dollars from the Chinese Exim Bank was meant for the construction of a standard gauge rail line linking Lagos and Kano States and it was alledgedly diverted which has made President Buhari demand an explanation.
However, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport Mohammed Bashar informed the President that 400 Million Dollars was still left of the loan.
