The sack saga continues with the Buhari administration as all ambassadors appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan, have been recalled back home.
According to reports, they were recalled home this weekend after 3 years of service abroad.
The list of the disengaged ambassadors include widow of the late Odumegwu Ojukwu, Bianca in Spain, former Foreign Affairs Minister, Ojo Maduekwe in Canada and a former aviation minister, Fidelia Njeze in Switzerland who were part of the 93 envoys posted out in June 2012.
The Nation newspaper reports that the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs communicated the President’s directive to the affected ambassadors and they were told to hand over to the highest ranking officer in their various locations.
