The United States Of America celebrated their Independence Day in an "Uptown Funk" kind of way with a Bruno Mars concert on the White House South lawn.
With breathtaking displays of fireworks lighting up the sky across America, President Barack Obama praised the US as being the greatest country on earth with a special thanks to the military service men and women who protect Americans.
Unfortunately, there was a heavy rain in Washington all through the day which forced the White House to cancel its annual 4th of July picnic for members of the military and their families.
