Tunisia Declares State Of Emergency After Terrorist Attack Claims 38 Lives

A week after the unfortunate terrorist massacre at a Tunisian beach hotel last week where 38 people were killed, President Beji Caid Essebsi has declared a 30 day state of emergency.

According to reports from CNN, this declaration gives the military and police more authority to combat terrorism and place restrictions on such rights as public assembly.

In a televised address to the nation, the President mentioned the terror group ISIS by name and declared Tunisia at war with extremism.

The victims of the attacks came from various nations, including Britain, Germany, Russia and Ireland. But Britain suffered the heaviest loss making it the worst terror attack against Britons in a decade.
