Civil servants in Sokoto will surely be in high spirits as Governor Aminu Tambuwal has approved the immediate payment of their July salaries ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr.
With there still being 2 weeks to the end of the month , this is really a commendable feat also not forgetting that their counterparts in some other states are being owed many months arrears.
The good news was made known in a press statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Imam Imam today and the Governor urged the workers to encourage the government’s gesture by continuing to render invaluable services to the state.
