Former Enugu Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani To Forfeit 22 Duplexes & Companies To FG


This is definitely a challenging period for the former governor of Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnamani as a Federal High Court siting in Lagos has ordered him to forfeit over 35 Million Naira and other assets to the Federal Government.

According to reports, the order came yesterday after the EFCC re-arraigned Nnamani and his former aide, Sunday Anyaogu on 105 counts of money-laundering and economic crimes, involving state funds which was allegedly committed while Nnamani was governor between 1999 and 2007.

Justice Mohammed Yunnusa delivered this ruling and among the forfeited assets are undeveloped properties, transmission equipment ,22 duplexes and 6 companies
