In order to ease things for for intending pilgrims to Israel and Saudi Arabia this year, the Federal Government has pegged one dollar at N16o as against the N240 in the parallel market.
According to the News Agency Of Nigeria, NAN, this was made known by the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, NCPC, John-Kennedy Opara in Abuja yesterday.
He explained that President Buhari wants to continue to support both NCPC and the National Hajj and encourage them to self sustenance such that pilgrims will be able to pay for their pilgrimage hence, removing government’s sponsorship.
