When the news filtered out last week that Sunday Oliseh might be replacing Stephen Keshi as the new Super Eagles coach, many people had varying opinions and misgivings but now the die has been cast and he has officially signed a contract today to take off where Keshi left off.
He will be assisted by Jean Francois Losciuto, a Belgian who holds a UEFA license.
They have actually worked together as Loscuito was Oliseh's assistant during his time as coach of RCS Verviers in Belgium.
Well, only time will tell if it was indeed the right choice.
