It good news for states who are finding it difficult to pay salaries of civil servants as President Buhari has approved over 400 Billion Naira, to assist them.
According to reports, this money was sourced from recent LNG proceeds to the federation account, and its release was approved by the President.
It is also described as a Central Bank-packaged special intervention fund that will offer financing to the states, and would be a soft loan available for them to access for the purposes of paying this backlog of salaries.
