The sum of 10 Billion Naira has been approved by Rivers State House of Assembly for the State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
Wike had sent a letter to the House of Assembly asking that he should be granted approval to secure the loan that would be used to fund some major projects in the state and 28 lawmakers voted in favor of the approval.
This follows reports that the immediate past administration of Rotimi Amaechi alledgedly left an empty treasury.
