Many people have been complaining as to the slow pace President Buhari seems to be handling national issues but a few hours ago, he dissolved the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, with immediate effect.
According to Channels News, this was made known in a letter letter signed today by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Danladi Kifasi.
According to the statement, President Buhari also expressed gratitude to members of the dissolved board for their services to the nation.
This development is a fulfillment of one of his campaign promises to sanitize the NNPC especially with the missing 20 Billion Dollars reported by the former CBN Governor, Lamido Sanusi.
