I guess this will be good news to Nigerians as the Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Solomon Arase has threatened to arrest Commissioners of Police, Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers who failed to enforce the ban on road-blocks.
He made this known in Enugu yesterday after the graduation ceremony of Batch one, Tactical Intelligence and Command Management Course at the Police Intelligence School, Enugu.
Ag IGP Arase said a task-force has also been put in place specifically for that purpose and that he would not tolerate any stories in that regard.
The Acting Inspector General of Police also warned police officers against corruption and warned them against keeping people in detention without sufficient evidence.
