Serious Drama In Bauchi As Governor Sacks All Political Aides

With a few days to the change of power, come May 29th, Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda has sacked all his political aides.

According to reports, it might be connected to allegations that some appointees were carting away government properties.

The sacking was made known in a statement signed by Hashimu Yakubu, permanent secretary, Political Affairs yesterday, stating that the sacking of all special advisers, senior special assistants and personal assistants was with immediate effect.

According to the statement, affected officers are requested to hand over government properties in their possession to heads of organisations where they served.
