You can call her the golden girl of Tennis and you won't be wrong as Serena Williams celebrates her 700th World Tennis win this week at the Miami Open.

She has won 19 grand slams, over $65 Million in prize money and is now the 8th female player to win 700 career matches which is no mean feat.


Serena says she was shocked when they brought out the humongous cake as she said she didn't know she had reached a milestone.
                             
Meanwhile, her story has not always been smooth sailing as in 2010 she had to take a 1 year break from tennis after doctors found a life-threatening blood clot in her lungs.
