To show support and also campaign for the APC in Lagos towards the upcoming Governorship election, the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari is presently in Lagos.
During his campaign, he urged people to vote for the APC in Lagos, stating that they defy all elements, they should vote en-masse for Akinwunmi Ambode as they can't afford to lose to the opposition.
Buhari told the crowd that Lagos, with its huge investments, can not be toyed with. He also promised that he would prioritize investment in Lagos infrastructure, noting that the state is a “mini Nigeria”.
