Public Servants In Ogun State Embark On 3 Day Warning Strike

Public servants in Ogun State under the aegis of the Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council have started a 3 day warning strike over alleged non remittance of co-operative deductions by the state government to different cooperative societies.

Reports from Channels Tv indicate that a visit to the Governor’s Office located at Oke Mosan in Abeokuta, revealed that workers were absent  from their duty posts in compliance with the directives of the Negotiating Council

Meanwhile, the State Head of Service, Modupe Adekunle, is appealing to the striking workers to show understanding, especially in the face of the dwindling revenue from the federation account and promised that steps are being taken by the government to pay the deductions.
