With 13 days to the Presidential election, the Northern Traditional Rulers Council, NTRC, says they are not endorsing either PDP's President Goodluck Jonathan nor APC's Muhammadu Buhari for president.
This was contained in a statement by the Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, after the NTRC met in Kaduna this week to discuss the rising social and political tension in the country as the general elections approach.
Meanwhile, they expressed confidence in the ability of the Chairman of INEC, Attahiru Jega, to lead the electoral body in conducting free, fair and transparent elections at the polls.
The traditional rulers based in the North also condemned the unrestrained verbal attacks among politicians, saying their unguarded statements are worsening the current situation of the country.
