Now that the postponement of elections has been formally confirmed by the INEC chairman, Atahiru Jega, what next for Nigerians?
This shift has met with a lot of backlash and criticism especially with the reason being that the security operatives of the country say they cannot guarantee security of the populace on the prior dates.
According to Professor Jega, it is also because only 66% of the people have collected their PVCs. I honestly don't want to be in his shoes right now because the pressure he is currently going through can only be better imagined.
However, at the end of the day, may God's will be done because there is obviously more to this than meets the eye. And before anyone starts to say we shouldn't be sentimental by talking about prayers, I have just one question to ask.....which one of you was able to stop them from shifting these elections?
So lets prayerfully look forward to the new dates as the Presidential election will now hold on the 28th of March while the Governorship election will hold on the 11th of April......may the best man win!
