Following the ban on APC's mobile fundraising campaign last week by the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, the Executive Vice Chairman, Eugene Juwah, has explained the reason for that action.
According to him, the APC flouted the commission’s laid down rules and regulations. He said the ban has nothing to do with politics as NCC is a public service agency. He said the rules flouted have to be adhered to whether there are elections or not.
Meanwhile, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, told journalists last week in Lagos that NCC issued the shutdown directive in order to give the PDP an edge over his party.
